Last week we meet up with Melissa and Luis for an engagement session. They are both originally from Northern California, so naturally they wanted the various beautiful landmarks of San Francisco as the backdrop for their pictures.

They are a couple in love – we could really feel the sparks when they look each other in the eye. We had tons of fun and we’re really looking forward to shooting their wedding in St. Helena!

My cousin Katie and her fiancé Ting are getting married this September, so this past weekend we met up to do engagement session pictures. Katie is like a sister to me, making the session even more meaningful.

We started out at Crissy Field, moved onto the Contemporary Jewish Museum, had dinner in Chinatown and then finally wrapped up in Union Square. Our friend, Victor Lin, came and helped us for the day. We had a blast together; maybe a little too much fun. Haha.

Katie & Ting are so cute and lubby dubby, making it easy to capture the happy moments on camera.

We met Wendy and Toi at the Japanese Tea Garden in Golden Gate Park this past weekend. We were initially worried it might be rainy and gloomy but the weather turned out to be perfect.

Wendy and Toi are a fun and energetic couple; very willing to try all sorts of weird suggestions we have. We greatly appreciate it :) Hope you guys had as much fun as we did. Can’t wait til your wedding in November!

Between the meetings and the engagement session, we got to know Melissa and John very well as if we were old friends. Last Sunday was their big day and we’re so happy to be there capturing all the special moments. Family and traditions were a big part of their wedding day – it was full of love and emotions!

Congratulations to Melissa and John! Great wedding & awesome company. We loved it!
