Wendy and Ze met up with us at Crissy Field for an engagement session. It was extremely windy, but as a seasoned Evanston/Chicago resident, Wendy demonstrated great attitude and went ahead with the shoot without a jacket. As it turned out, Wendy and Mark both went to Northwestern University! Go Wildcats!
After Crissy Field we headed over the Ferry Building for a more urban backdrop.
It was really fun to get to know Wendy and Ze. They were a bit camera shy at the beginning but as the afternoon progressed, the playful side started to show. Next time we’ll do the Titanic pose ;)

I love to eat and Mark loves to cook. You can say we are both fans of good food. So when Annemarie (general manager of The Rotunda at Neiman Marcus) asked if we can go in and take some pictures of their new afternoon tea menu, we jumped with joy and accepted immediately.
Chef Peng made all of the mini sandwiches and desserts that were pretty to look at and delicious to eat. We had a great time working with the team there. This is definitely one of the most delicious photo session ever! We can’t wait for our next opportunity to go back and shoot at The Rotunda again.

Melissa and John are engaged to be married on May 31st, 2009. This past Sunday we met up at the Hakone Gardens in Saratoga for an engagement session. We got there a little earlier to talk for a bit before we began the photo session. We were hoping for warmer weather, especially since Melissa had prepared these cute dresses! Unfortunately it was still kind of chilly, but Melissa toughed it out and went ahead with the outfits she planned! Thanks so much for being great sports.
The session was full of laughter and we got to know each other pretty well. John and Melissa are such an adorable couple. We can’t wait to cover their wedding in May!

Jeanny and Philip are one of the most energetic couple we’ve ever met. Philip is spontaneous and fun while Jeanny is sweet and delightful. They are constantly laughing – you can see how happy they are and how much they adore each other.
After all the running and jumping at Monopoly in the Park in San Jose, we went to La Victoria for some delicious burrito and the La Victoria special sauce. The sauce is really to-die-for!
