When Kara and Trevor said they wanted their engagement session at Trevor’s work location we were like ok sure. When they said it was a brickyard we were like heck yeah. It was even better when they brought their girl Button to the shoot.
We are still trying to catch up on our blogging.
We were commissioned around December 2013/January 2014 by Beauty Magazine in Taiwan to do a spread for their January issue. We got the magazine a while back but just did not have time to take some snapshots of our work in print. We had a great time working with the editors, makeup artists and stylists for this shoot.
Here is an engagement session we are so excited to share. Stay tuned for their awesome Pebble Beach wedding blog post coming soon.
Michelle and Colin’s engagement session started at China Beach, where Colin had proposed to Michelle. Colin is super charming and attentive, and treat Michelle like his princess.
From the very first meeting with Michelle and Colin, we were excited about this lovely couple. Maybe it is because we can relate to their long distance love story, or maybe it was the way they looked at each other and holding hands when they were telling us their story, we were so moved by them and beyond honored to be their photographer.
Here are some of our favorites from their engagement session.
In the exquisite St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church, Angela and Sean exchanged vows in front of their family and friends. Their heart warming reception was held at the beautiful Kimball Hall next door. This was an emotional day, with lots of joyful as well as tear-jerking moments. Angela’s maid-of-honor mentioned she cries a lot, and somehow Angela managed to find a guy that is equally sentimental and loving as her :)
Earlier in the day, Angela was surrounded by her college besties as she slipped into her wedding dress and transformed into a stunning bride. The girls put some music on and danced like they did back in school. It was lively, happy and full of love. Instead of a private first look, Angela and Sean chose to have their close family and friends witness their emotional embrace. This was the atmosphere for the entire day. The wedding reflected who they are – kind, loving, caring and joyful. And lots and lots of happy tears.
We laughed and cried with them. We got to know their family and friends, and fell in love with them even more. Angela’s grandparents have been married for 50 years and we are sure Angela and Sean will give them a run for this record.
Angela & Sean – we are so honored to be part of your big day. Thank you for allowing us to document your love. We wish you two a lifetime of love and happiness together.
