Here is an engagement session we are so excited to share. Stay tuned for their awesome Pebble Beach wedding blog post coming soon.

Michelle and Colin’s engagement session started at China Beach, where Colin had proposed to Michelle. Colin is super charming and attentive, and treat Michelle like his princess.

From the very first meeting with Michelle and Colin, we were excited about this lovely couple. Maybe it is because we can relate to their long distance love story, or maybe it was the way they looked at each other and holding hands when they were telling us their story, we were so moved by them and beyond honored to be their photographer.

Here are some of our favorites from their engagement session.

Nancy and Tilak’s wedding is coming up in May, and so we thought it would be the perfect time to share their engagement session photos to kick start the celebration.

Prior to moving away, Nancy and Tilak lived in San Francisco where they were both physicians with UCSF. San Francisco holds a special place in their heart and they flew back for the engagement session.

We met them on Skype prior to the session. They are both funny, intelligent and extremely good looking. We had a great time laughing through the session.

Here is some of our favorite photos.

Michi & Yo met the old fashioned way, via the internet. He was a man living in Japan and she a woman living in the US. They chatted online and the next thing you know, she is flying to Japan to get married. When I went to Japan in October, Michi & Yo decided to have an engagement session done. It was pouring that day since a typhoon was nearby at the time, but i think it worked out pretty well.

Patricia & Bert live in Los Angeles, but they are having their wedding here in San Francisco. It is only fitting that they want some engagement session in Los Angeles, so earlier this year we went down there for a day of shooting.

Thanks for the yummy lunch, and we can’t wait for the wedding.

We met up with Angela and Sean at the Ferry Building for their engagement session. There was the farmer’s market and several food trucks were there that day. While we were parking and getting ready to start the session, I told Mark I wished we came earlier so we could grab food from the RoliRoti truck. Little did I know, Sean had actually already bought us lunch from RoliRoti! Turns out that was one of their favorites and they wanted to include RoliRoti in their photos! They are so cute and really thoughtful!

We had fun doing their session and testing what crazy things they were willing to do. They are both funny and easy to get along with. It was such a pleasure to hang out with them!
