Nancy and Tilak’s wedding is coming up in May, and so we thought it would be the perfect time to share their engagement session photos to kick start the celebration.

Prior to moving away, Nancy and Tilak lived in San Francisco where they were both physicians with UCSF. San Francisco holds a special place in their heart and they flew back for the engagement session.

We met them on Skype prior to the session. They are both funny, intelligent and extremely good looking. We had a great time laughing through the session.

Here is some of our favorite photos.

In the modern chic Willow Heights Mansion in Morgan Hill, Misook and Ryan exchanged emotional vows in front of their family and friends. What makes them such a wonderful couple is not just their apparent love and respect for each other, but also their love for their family and friends. The wedding celebration was filled with love, emotions and joy.

During the engagement session, Ryan had mentioned his dream girl would play golf. So it is just fitting that both of them got to hit a few balls on their big day in their wedding attire :)

We were really impressed with Misook’s DIY skills. She planned the big day with meticulous detail and showcased her impressive craft skills. The signs, invitations programs – all paper goods – were pretty amazing! Also, the choreographed dance by Misook, Ryan and the wedding party was a delight. It really goes to show how Misook and Ryan want to make sure everyone is having a great experience.

Misook and Ryan – thanks so much for allowing us to document your special day! We wish you two a lifetime of love and happiness together.

Much love,
Tammy, Mark and Little Maddy

On a beautiful sunny day in Capitola, Karen and Ed were surrounded by their family and friends as they exchanged their vows. The wedding was the perfect illustration of the love and support they have. Earlier in the morning, we saw family and friends helping with the decoration of the venue. Karen’s talented friends baked the wedding cake. Ed spent a lot of his time creating several of the items used for the wedding. Karen’s brother David was their officiant. Ed’s brother Evan, the creator of Dog Powered Robot, gave one of the most brilliant toasts ever. All the personal touches made this day extra special! Our favorites were the special quiet moments between Karen and her dad, and the infectious smiles from Ed’s mom. Indeed, the wedding was a joyous celebration.

Karen & Ed – It is such an honor to be part of this intimate wedding. The two of you are incredible and together you make people feel completely at ease to celebrate your love. Thanks again for having us. We wish you a lifetime of happiness together!

Much love,
Tammy, Mark and little Maddy

Kay and Josh’s wedding day began at the Four Seasons Hotel and continued at the beautiful Elizabeth Gamble Garden in Palo Alto. Family and friends travelled from Asia and all over US to attend this special day celebrating them. The wedding, with the help from Sophie and her awesome team at Simply Perfect Weddings & Events, was intimate and very lovely.

Josh and Mark met while they were in Northwestern, and we met Kay for the first time during the engagement session. This extremely smart and quirky couple are such a joy to hang out with. Josh is always the jokester and it is so nice know he found the perfect girl that matches his sense of humor. We were not even surprised anymore when they started doing yoga poses in their wedding attire :)

Kay and Josh – thank you so much for allow us to be part of your wedding day. We loved every moment of your lovely wedding. We wish you tons of happiness and love. Congratulations!

Much love,
Tammy, Mark and little Maddy

At the beautiful gazebo overlooking the glistening waters of Crystal Springs Reservoir, family and friends from near and far gathered to celebrate ZinZin and Adam.

ZinZin and Adam’s wedding included a lot of personal touches. Adam’s sister officiated the wedding, ZinZin baked the cake pop wedding favors and ZinZin’s bridesmaids helped packaging everything together. This wedding is extra special to us because Zinzin is a dear friend of ours every since we first met in 2009. ZinZin is a great girl with really smart wits. We are so happy that she met Adam, a lawyer with a great sense of humor. There is never a dull moment when we hang out with them.

ZinZin and Adam, we are so honored to be your wedding photographers. It was really touching to document your big day. We wish you two a lifetime of love and happiness together.

Much love,
Tammy, Mark and little Maddy
