Lai and Barry’s wedding was an intimate affair full of DIY components that really represented who they are. Their Chinese + Irish wedding was held at the Pelican Inn in Muir Beach. The two-story Tudor style inn is charming and quaint, and the candlelight dinner brought a romantic feel to the joyful event. They kept the wedding cozy, with around 35 close friends and family whom traveled from near and some from as far as Ireland and Australia. The amazing rustic details were created by Lai’s talented designer sister Carol. As we documented their wedding day, we couldn’t help but fall in love with Lai and Barry, and their amazing family. There was so much laughter and tears of joy.

In the exquisite St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church, Angela and Sean exchanged vows in front of their family and friends. Their heart warming reception was held at the beautiful Kimball Hall next door. This was an emotional day, with lots of joyful as well as tear-jerking moments. Angela’s maid-of-honor mentioned she cries a lot, and somehow Angela managed to find a guy that is equally sentimental and loving as her :)

Earlier in the day, Angela was surrounded by her college besties as she slipped into her wedding dress and transformed into a stunning bride. The girls put some music on and danced like they did back in school. It was lively, happy and full of love. Instead of a private first look, Angela and Sean chose to have their close family and friends witness their emotional embrace. This was the atmosphere for the entire day. The wedding reflected who they are – kind, loving, caring and joyful. And lots and lots of happy tears.
We laughed and cried with them. We got to know their family and friends, and fell in love with them even more. Angela’s grandparents have been married for 50 years and we are sure Angela and Sean will give them a run for this record.

Angela & Sean – we are so honored to be part of your big day. Thank you for allowing us to document your love. We wish you two a lifetime of love and happiness together.

Much love,
Tammy, Mark and Little Maddy

Thanksgiving is a special holiday for families and friends to gather together. Vincy and Brian made it extra special by having their classic Westin St. Francis wedding during this special time. Their family and friends gathered to witness their union and celebrate their love.

Vincy and Brian met through common friends, plus it was great that Brian was already friends with Vincy’s sister. This good looking duo is witty, loving and not afraid to goof off. We laughed so hard with them during their big day. It was a wedding filled with love and laughter.

Vincy and Brian – thank you for allowing us to be part of your very special day. We wish you a lifetime of love and happiness together. Yay Chows!

Much love,
Tammy, Mark and little M

In the modern chic Willow Heights Mansion in Morgan Hill, Misook and Ryan exchanged emotional vows in front of their family and friends. What makes them such a wonderful couple is not just their apparent love and respect for each other, but also their love for their family and friends. The wedding celebration was filled with love, emotions and joy.

During the engagement session, Ryan had mentioned his dream girl would play golf. So it is just fitting that both of them got to hit a few balls on their big day in their wedding attire :)

We were really impressed with Misook’s DIY skills. She planned the big day with meticulous detail and showcased her impressive craft skills. The signs, invitations programs – all paper goods – were pretty amazing! Also, the choreographed dance by Misook, Ryan and the wedding party was a delight. It really goes to show how Misook and Ryan want to make sure everyone is having a great experience.

Misook and Ryan – thanks so much for allowing us to document your special day! We wish you two a lifetime of love and happiness together.

Much love,
Tammy, Mark and Little Maddy

On a beautiful sunny day in Capitola, Karen and Ed were surrounded by their family and friends as they exchanged their vows. The wedding was the perfect illustration of the love and support they have. Earlier in the morning, we saw family and friends helping with the decoration of the venue. Karen’s talented friends baked the wedding cake. Ed spent a lot of his time creating several of the items used for the wedding. Karen’s brother David was their officiant. Ed’s brother Evan, the creator of Dog Powered Robot, gave one of the most brilliant toasts ever. All the personal touches made this day extra special! Our favorites were the special quiet moments between Karen and her dad, and the infectious smiles from Ed’s mom. Indeed, the wedding was a joyous celebration.

Karen & Ed – It is such an honor to be part of this intimate wedding. The two of you are incredible and together you make people feel completely at ease to celebrate your love. Thanks again for having us. We wish you a lifetime of happiness together!

Much love,
Tammy, Mark and little Maddy
