It seems fitting to post this entry since this week is SF pride week as well as of the historic decision yesterday regarding marriage equality. Charlie & Max actually met randomly wondering around at SF Pride where they discovered tons of similarities (both Jewish, both has a sister named Emily) and hit it off right away. They now reside in Colorado, but they wanted to have their wedding in beautiful California.

Charlie and Max’s wedding day was filled with traditions, love and laughter. We got to hear about the adventures of Susan, met the adorable Morrison and Maggie and hang out with Max and Charlie’s awesome family.

Charlie & Max – thanks for allowing us to be part of your special day. We had such a great time photographing your love. Wishing you two a lifetime of love and happiness. Mazel Tov!

Our wedding at Ramekins last year got published recently in Ceremony Magazine.

Here is our original blog entry for the wedding.

At the unique and beautiful Ramekins Culinary Institute in Sonoma, Nichole and Paul exchanged promises to love and cherish. Their amazing friends and family from near and far were determined to be here for the celebration. Paul’s family drove half way across the country to stay ahead of Hurricane Sandy and caught their flight in Ohio. Other guests flew in from Hong Kong, England, Canada and all over US. Over and over again, we felt so much of the love and support for Nichole and Paul that made us melt.

Nichole and Paul’s love story started from and blossomed into something extremely special over the next two years. We got to know them better during the engagement session and this time documenting their wedding felt like watching our friends getting married. The ceremony and reception was sweet and filled with personal touches. Nichole is super creative and we are in awe of all the paper works she designed for the wedding. The night turned into some crazy dancing, including Nichole and her dad doing Gangnam style and everyone doing the train, and ended with a sparkly send off for the newly weds. What a night!

P & N – Thank you so much for allowing us to be part of your love story. We hope Fiji is awesome and wish you a lifetime of happiness together.

Much love,
Tammy, Mark and little Maddy

In the beautiful wine cellar of Viansa Winery, Ed looked at Kiani with so much love that could make anyone’s heart melt.

The day started out with a drizzle that ended up pouring, but nothing could damper the atmosphere for this wonderful celebration. Family and friends smiled and sighed with delight as Kiani and Ed made their promise to be together forever.

It was really nice to see Kiani and Ed again after the engagement session last year. Kiani is already gorgeous, but on her wedding day she was absolutely radiant! Her warm smile and charming personality brighten up the room. When she spoke of Ed, her face lit up with joy that nothing can compare to. In the other room, Ed was nervous in such a sweet way. He could not wait for the day to be over and officially say Kiani is his girl.

We love that Kiani and Ed are so happy and comfortable together and we could not think of two people more perfect for each other. Thank you for having us there on your special day.

much love,
Tammy, Mark and little Maddy

Olivia and Chris live in New Jersey and booked us after exchanging a few emails. When we finally got to meet them in person during the Bay Area trip, we fell in love with them immediately! They are so sweet and down to earth. And Olivia has a wonder smile that can brighten up anyone’s day!

They are also very special because they had spend some time apart during their relationship. Long distance love has a special place in our heart. Going through that is hard but it also makes a couple stronger in their determination to be together.

Our California girl met her New Jersey boy during a company training event in Chicago. They parted with good impressions of each other, and kept in touch via emails, instant messages and online social media after they went back to their respective states. Fate intervened when Olivia was sent to temporarily support the New York office. Chris jumped to the chance to show her around and impress her, and soon they developed something very special. After two years of long distance, Chris popped the question and Olivia happily said yes. Now they both happily reside in New Jersey. Hurray for no more long distance!

Olivia and Chris’s wedding in Santa Rosa was really perfect. The happy couple, gorgeous bridesmaids, hilarious groomsmen, delightful family and friends made this day so enjoyable.

Congratulations again! Thanks for having us there. We wish you a lifetime of happiness together!

much love,
Tammy, Mark and little Maddy
